Director of Software Applications Engineering:

Director of Software Applications Engineering: Oversee the development of software application solutions for the company’s proprietary medical imaging platform. Develop a long-term software development strategy and vision for the platform and translate strategies into actionable software development strategies and product roadmaps. Create flow charts and schematic diagrams to map out process flows and create technical and functional designs and specifications. Establish project scope, goals, budget, phases, and timelines in coordination with management. Direct activities throughout the software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous integration, build processes, testing, and operations. Enhance existing application functionalities to increase operational efficiency and continuously verify the stability, interoperability, portability, security, and scalability of system architecture. Develop comprehensive testing objectives, methods, and procedures to ensure the quality, reliability, and functionality of the software. Monitor team members workload to ensure assessments are completed in a timely manner and resolve any schedule or resource complications as they arise. Provide technical leadership and guidance in relevant meetings with internal team members, customers, investors, partners, and other external groups. Customize and enhance software and user modules to improve performance and strengthen the integration capabilities of current and future modifications. Stay abreast of the latest technological advances and industry trends to ensure optimal performance and effective applications development.

Requirements:

The position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and two years of experience in the offered position or a related occupation. This may be substituted with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related position. The position requires skills and knowledge in iOS and Android applications, JIRA, Balsamiq, Google Suite, Google Analytics, Asana, XML, JSON, C#, SQL and Data Structures. The position requires incidental travel - 1 % of the time, not more than several days a few times a year.

40 hours/week.
